General role description

Laboratory Technicians play a hands-on role in supporting clinical and biomedical investigations.

Working in laboratories, they are responsible for preparing and processing samples, operating equipment, and ensuring data integrity through quality-controlled procedures.

Their work enables researchers and clinicians to generate accurate results that drive discoveries, support clinical trials, and inform patient care.

Key responsibilities

  •  Prepare, label, and process biological or clinical samples for testing
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used in diagnostic and research processes
  • Adhere to laboratory safety and quality assurance procedures
  • Maintain laboratory stocks, cleanliness, and compliance with standards
  • Assist with data documentation to support research accuracy and traceability.

Required qualifications
