The Life Sciences Company Directors Course is delivered by the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) in partnership with LifeSciences Australia. Designed for current and aspiring directors, executives and senior leaders, the course builds the governance knowledge, boardroom confidence and practical decision-making capability needed to lead effectively in complex organisational environments.
Through facilitated discussions, interactive case studies, practical activities and a boardroom simulation, participants explore the key issues facing directors today. The course strengthens capability in strategy, risk oversight, financial literacy, director responsibilities and legal obligations, stakeholder management, and balancing short- and long-term priorities. Participants will develop the judgement and confidence to contribute more effectively to boardroom discussions and support sustainable organisational performance.
The course will be delivered online across five facilitated sessions on 3, 10, 17 and 24 November and 1 December 2026, following a one-hour information session on 27 October. The fee is $8,425 plus GST and includes course materials. Registered participants will also receive complimentary AICD membership for 12 months. Expressions of interest close on 1 September 2026.
