Quality Management System (QMS) Training for Commercial Success

15-12-2022 08:03 AM

Australia’s Medical Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Digital Health sector supported 70,000 Australian jobs and contributed more than $5 billion in Gross Value Added (GVA) to the Australian economy in 2019. Its future growth is dependent on the skills of its workforce. (1)

Launched in 2020, the four-year Researcher Exchange and Development within Industry (REDI) initiative is a $32 million program funded by the Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) and operated by MTPConnect to build an industry-ready workforce with the skills and capacity to keep pace with the demands of a rapidly changing sector - for now, and the immediate future.

REDI undertook a comprehensive analysis of the Medical Technology, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical (MTP) sector and identified several critical skills gaps that inhibit the industry maximising the impact on healthcare in Australia.

One of the critical skills gaps to address relates to Quality Management Systems (QMS) which are a key-piece in supporting organisations to achieve and maintain commercial success through alignment or Certification to Standards.

REDI has partnered with SeerPharma to close the QMS skills gap with a range of training courses for Australians.
