When:  Apr 30, 2024 from 09:30 AM to 01:00 PM (ET)

Marketing Masterclass: Brand Building & Content Strategy

No marketing team? No problem! Join us at CHICC on Tuesday 30 April 2024 for a jam-packed double-header to accelerate your marketing strategy.

Far too many good people and good ideas fail simply because they can't tell a good story. Learn how to position your brand and make your content reach the right audience at our upcoming CHICC Expert Workshop.

With many digital health founders being clinicians, scientists and academics, we understand that marketing and communications may feel like a foreign language. Expert consultants Francis Nicholls-Wunder, Managing Director, Light Creative, and Dale Brander, Co-Founder & Director of Stacked, will guide you through this interactive workshop on articulating and positioning your brand, finding your target audiences, and creating a framework to grow your brand through content.

Workshop 9:30am-1:00pm | Morning Tea & Networking 11:00am -11:30am

What will you learn?

Part 1: Brand Attributes & Positioning

Every startup must be able to clearly explain what they do, and why they do it. This is particularly critical in the digital health space where often companies are presenting new technologies and touching on sensitive, personal issues for their audience. This workshop with Francis, a Storytelling Consultant with extensive experience in brand and communications, will help you to articulate foundational brand attributes before using those attributes to generate some clear and concise positioning statements to build your reputation around.

Learning outcomes:

  • Articulate key brand attributes
  • Create a Market Positioning statement using those brand attributes
  • Create Why, How and What statements using those brand attributes
  • Understand how to apply positioning statements in key messaging

Part 2: Content Strategy & Content Creation

The stories you tell through your content are what builds trust and awareness in your brand. When talking health and digital products, carefully considered content can make all the difference in legitimising your solution and making your offering seem approachable and appealing. This workshop with Dale, an experienced content creator and strategist who works with major international brands, will help you explore the content opportunities related to the purpose, process and products of your business. You'll learn how to quickly prioritise your content creation and make the most of everything you produce by distributing it through multiple channels that can reach your target audience.

Learning outcomes:

  • Ideate impactful, strategic content narratives
  • Prioritise your content creation
  • Efficiently create new content
  • Optimise your content distribution

Note: Filming and Photography will be taking place at this workshop. Some of this material may be available to you following the workshop.

Dress code: Dale and Francis encourage branded clothing e.g. t-shirts or jumpers for this workshop.
